PUPPET!

So for the past two days i've been near enough working solidly on making my first puppet. It was also my first time modelling with clay!

"Goldie Locks"
I am really happy with the result and it's been amazing to see her grow and transform. I am definitely going to be making more puppets like her because even though it was a hard (and sometimes annoying) process, I had so much fun!

Just thought i'd drop this in...

This is my etching board that i've scratched into ready for when I get a chance to print it.

Presently, I've having a ball experimenting with letter press and Calligraphy.

However, I have found that spelling mistake in Calligraphy seem more embarrassing!

But Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy quotes seem much more sophisticated...

I'm begining to sail into DEADLINE territory. This means there may not be as many posts for a while but expect a tidal wave around March!

I'm beginning to draw more male figures because I wanted to expand my skills as I'd noticed I seemed to draw a lot of females. Having so much fun!

Also, this chappy is complete and ready to present to my friend...

And talking of little chappy, this is my new mascot, Rupert. He's already given me some cracking ideas so those should be posted soon enough!

Hello 2001! Hello new Semester!

Gosh it has been a while since I posted.
Just shows I've been busy!
I won't be able to put up everything but these I believe are my best new pieces or discoveries into new ideas.....


This is the very latest. Completed yesterday, this is a Valentine's card for my parents. I really hope they don't check on here in the next few days because it'd be awesome if I could keep it a secret! The smallest heart is less than 5mmx5mm.

This handsome fellow is the working progress of a good friend's belated present. The scale wasn't intended, however I wanted to be bold and I want to see how I work on large scale.
